API Terms of Use

1. Eligibility & Access

Access to the ArtinFox Signal Intelligence REST API (the "API") requires an active paid subscription at the Advanced or Enterprise tier. API access is granted through a personal authentication token issued upon subscription activation.

• API credentials are personal and non-transferable. You may not share, sell, or sublicense your API token.
• Each account may maintain one active API token at a time. Tokens can be regenerated from your account settings.
• You are responsible for all API usage that occurs under your credentials.

2. Permitted Uses

You may use the API to:

• Retrieve real-time and historical cryptocurrency signal data for your own personal or internal business use.
• Integrate signal data into your own private trading tools, dashboards, or research workflows.
• Build internal applications for your own organisation on Enterprise plans.
• Automate retrieval of signal data for personal portfolio management purposes.

3. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the API to:

• Redistribute signal data as a commercial product or service, or resell API data to third parties in any form without prior written agreement.
• Create a competing signal platform that derives its primary value from API data obtained through ArtinFox.
• Strip or obscure attribution — if you display ArtinFox signal data in any interface visible to others, you must clearly attribute it to ArtinFox Signal Intelligence.
• Exceed rate limits through intentional parallelisation, credential sharing, or other means designed to circumvent throttling controls.
• Use the API for fully automated trading without displaying the disclaimer that signals are not financial advice and results are not guaranteed.
• Store and republish bulk historical data beyond what is necessary for your own personal or internal use.
• Use the API for any purpose that violates applicable law or our Terms of Service.

4. Rate Limits

Rate limits are enforced to ensure fair access and platform stability. Specific rate limits are documented in the API reference and vary by subscription tier. Advanced plans are subject to standard rate limits. Enterprise plans include higher rate limits negotiated at time of subscription.

• Exceeding rate limits will result in HTTP 429 responses. Your application must implement appropriate backoff and retry logic.
• Sustained or intentional rate limit abuse may result in temporary or permanent API access suspension.
• If your legitimate use case requires higher limits than your current plan allows, contact us to discuss Enterprise options.

5. Data Accuracy & No Reliance

All data returned by the API carries the same disclaimers as data displayed on the website. Signal outputs are generated by automated models and are provided for informational and educational purposes only. You acknowledge that:

• API responses may contain errors, delays, or omissions due to upstream data provider failures, model errors, or system maintenance.
• You must not treat API signal data as financial advice or rely on it as the sole basis for any investment decision.
• Any application you build using API data must include a prominent disclaimer that signals are AI-generated, not guaranteed, and not financial advice.
• Past API accuracy does not predict future performance.

6. Service Availability

We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted API availability. Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance may temporarily suspend API access. We are not liable for losses arising from API downtime, latency, or degraded performance.

7. Versioning & Breaking Changes

We may release new API versions and deprecate older versions with reasonable notice. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before removing any currently documented API endpoint. Breaking changes will be communicated via email to the address on your account.

8. Intellectual Property

All data, signal outputs, model scores, and content returned by the API are the intellectual property of ArtinFox Signal Intelligence. Your API subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use API data strictly in accordance with these Terms. No ownership of API data is transferred to you.

9. Monitoring & Audit

We log all API requests including timestamps, endpoints accessed, volume, and IP addresses. This data is used to enforce these Terms, detect abuse, ensure fair usage, and improve the Service. By using the API, you consent to this monitoring.

10. Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently revoke your API access immediately and without notice if:

• Your subscription lapses or is cancelled.
• You violate any provision of these API Terms or the Terms of Service.
• We determine your usage is harmful to the platform or other users.
• Your account is involved in fraud or abuse.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ARTINFOX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSSES, DAMAGES, OR CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE API, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO TRADING LOSSES, DATA LOSS, SYSTEM FAILURES, OR DECISIONS MADE BASED ON API OUTPUTS. You assume full responsibility for how you use API data in your applications and workflows.

12. Changes to API Terms

We may update these API Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued API use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
